PCA-Mid-Atlantic Scholarship Recipients Honored At Wizards Game

On December 12th at Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards, PCA Mid-Atlantic's Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship winners were honored with a half-time presentation featuring Washington Mystics star player, Elena Delle Donne.


These four outstanding student-athletes were award college scholarships because throughout their high school athletic careers they demonstrated the ability to make themselves better, their teammates better, and the game better.


The 2018 winners were Alexis Duda, a basketball and soccer player from Lignanore High School; Kaden Kozlowski, a gymnast and cheerleader from Briar Woods High School; Ethan Sohn, a cross country and track & field runner and short track speed skater from Lake Braddock Secondary School; and Makayla Vaughns, a basketball and track & field athlete from Governor Thomas Johnson High School.


The winners were even lucky enough to run into some Harlem Globetrotters while waiting to take the court!
