ABOUT MADDIE POTTS

A kind, compassionate competitor and friend to so many on and off the field, seventeen-year old Maddie Potts suffered a brain aneurysm on September 23, 2017 as she lined up to take a free kick. Maddie died at the hospital the next day. Maddie was a senior, a captain, and soccer and lacrosse player at Chariho High School. Cherishing her indomitable, positive spirit, her family identifies with Positive Coaching Alliance’s message and mission to help develop Better Athletes, Better People through sports done right.
