Joe Dumars is a former NBA Executive and All-Star player for the Detroit Pistons. The NBA Sportsmanship Award is named the Joe Dumars Trophy, and in 2006 he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

From 2000-2014, Dumars was President of Basketball Operations for the Pistons, helping the team to 7 straight 50 win seasons, 6 straight trips to the Eastern Conference Finals, 2 Eastern Conference Championships, and the 2004 NBA Championship.

Dumars also played 14 seasons for the Pistons, and was an NBA All-Star six times. Dumars won two NBA Championships in 1989 and 1990 and in 1989 was awarded the NBA Finals MVP.
